We are a small friendly game angling club situated in the South West of Cumbria.
The peak of Black Combe overlooks the coastal plain and on a clear day the surrounding views are magnificent, from western Scotland, down to North Wales and across to the Isle of Man. The famous landmark of Black Combe forms the central hub of our extensive and varied fishing.
As a member of MADAA your season would start with fishing at Devoke Water on March the 15th.
The high level altitude of Devoke water means that the water warms slowly and fish will rise freely to the fly later in the spring, however sub surface methods can work very well early on.
